FUSO gifted the FJ with a high power output and a flat torque curve across the rev range, partnering this with selective catalytic reduction, to make it one of the world’s most profitable Euro 4/5 engines. A 9-speed transmission with crawler gear and engine demand based throttle control gives FUSO FJ heavy duty trucks additional flexibility for off road deployment.

Power windows, cruise control, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, air conditioning, central locking and a sleeper cabin ensure drivers remain at their peak performance over their entire journey. Anti-roll bars and multi-leaf rear suspension mean improved road holding, load carrying capacity and improved grip especially at higher speeds.

Efficient Drivetrain
The direct-injection diesel engine delivers high output and a flat torque curve for optimum performance. Fuel pumps are oil-lubricated to reduce wear and improve durability. On Euro 4 models, engine emissions are reduced through Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), with AdBlue® injected into the exhaust stream.

Peak Performance
The 6.4-liter 6S20 diesel engine reaches 210kW peak power at 2200rpm and an impressive 1120Nm peak torque at 1200-1600rpm.

Smooth, Durable Transmission
The six-speed (6F, 1R) synchromesh overdrive transmission facilitates smoother, more efficient gear shifts. The large diameter organic clutch plate provides good durability and smooth clutch engagement.

E-Viscous Fan
An electronic viscous cooling fan reduces engine load for improved fuel efficiency and overall performance.

Enhanced Suspension
The parabolic front suspension improves on-road comfort and operation. The multi-leaf rear suspension features additional leaves with increased thickness for added durability and greater payload capacity.
