2018 Reading Truck Group Series 50 TPA50-98SW

The straight panel and tapered panel bodies offer interior work space with three or four full-length shelves on each side to provide carrying space for long-handled tools and equipment. In addition, they feature numerous exterior compartments with spring-loaded door holders on all vertical doors for ease of operation. Solid rear access doors lock securely with a two-point locking system.

Both the panel and tapered panel bodies are built on the Classic II service body and are available in heights of 50", 60" and 72". All models are available in fuel-saving aluminum galvannealed steel. • Premium A60 galvannealed steel features a bonded zinc alloy surface that is exceptionally hard, scratch resistant and corrosion resistant.

• All-aluminum fuel receptacle protects body from accidental nicks and scratches during fueling.

• 1/8" aluminum diamond plate floor.

• Patented design increases clear door openings in every compartment of the body. Large, automotive quality bubble-type seal and mechanical seal provide a dual line of defense against weather.

• Galvanized shelves with 2" dividers for small item storage. Also available, full access between all vertical compartments for longer tool storage.

• 18-gauge steel outer door skin is 3/8 thicker than the industry standard. Double-panel construction and internal reinforcement make these the thickest and strongest doors in the industry.

• Patented hidden hinges are a Reading exclusive and resist forcible entry. This robust and concealed hinge design provides protection against corrosion without requiring frequent lubrication or maintenance. They are fully adjustable and easy to replace without special tools.

• All vertical compartment doors are equipped with nitrogen strut door holders. Internal dampeners control the opening and closing of doors.

• A durable, high-gloss polyester powder coat that is electrically bonded to surfaces and melted to form a durable, corrosion-resistant finish. Produces a brighter finish that resists corrosion, chemicals, humidity, scratches, chips and UV damage.

• Seamless wheelhouse panel gives dirt and moisture fewer places to collect.

• Attractive appearance with no exposed fasteners; rust resistant. Features a double-bolted, high quality locking cylinder, adjustable striker pins and an O-ring seal to prevent water intrusion.

• With security protection, stainless steel rotary lock and paddle handle inside door release.
